Driven by distinctive sounds, poignant melodies, dark atmospheres and nostalgic themes, Montreal-based film composer Antoine Lamothe creates vital and touching emotions through his music.
A classically trained pianist from a very young age, Lamothe broadened his musical spectrum by learning the drums as a teenager. From Tokyo to Lima, as a drummer, he has been rocking arenas and stadiums throughout the world with his band Deadly Apples on high profile tours and festivals. Whether he’s performing on stage in front of 20,000 fans or composing alone at his studio, Lamothe lives and breathes music.
As a multidisciplinary artist, Lamothe has also worked as film director for several projects with Celine Dion, Rush, Rihanna, Cher, Cirque du Soleil, Warner Bros. and the Montreal Canadiens.
